Current vacancies:
Vacancy: Town Ranger (part time post)
Grade: £17,842 – £19,312 (NJC SCP 1-5) (£4,817.34-£5,214.24 pro rata)
Annualised hours, initially 520 per year – in addition some evening & weekend work; and work on Bank Holidays will be required for which overtime will be paid at the appropriate rate.

About the role:
Are you passionate about seeing a well-kept town that is bright and welcoming and open for business?
The Town Council is looking for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our forward thinking team and lead the way to improving the Town Centre in partnership with the community and other statutory agencies.
Our new Town Ranger Service will be out and about in Stapleford doing all those little jobs that we all often walk or drive past thinking ’why does somebody not clean that up or sort that out?’.
Leading and supervising community initiatives such as litterpicking and flowerbed maintenance the Town Ranger will be at the forefront of improving Stapleford. You will build strong relationships with community groups and staff at the Borough and County Councils and work with them to ensure that Stapleford looks its best.
A keen interest in horticulture and handy with a set of tools you will also be responsible for general maintenance of the Town Council’s properties.
