The Mayor of Stapleford was invited to choose a winner from the drawings submitted to Stapleford Town Football Club, along with the Chairman Pete Scott.

All of the drawings were amazing and it was very difficult to choose one winner.

So after some excellent entries for the draw a footballer competition, Arlow from The Soccer School was pronounced the winner!!

He incorporated the Hemlock Stone into his design because he said “its a strong rock in Stapleford and that Stapleford Town are like rocks—nothing can break us!” And how right he is!!

Pete Scott and Richard MacRae were wowed by the pictures and loved that this one gave Soccer School a nickname (The Rocks)and a potential mascot.

A big well done to all and everyone will get a chocolate treat and a print of their design.
