Easter Bonnet Parade – virtual of course!

As part of our programme of ‘online’ events we are launching our virtual Easter Bonnet Parade and competition. We want to see your fabulous creations and to create a virtual parade to post online. Creative Stapleford residents are urged to get crafting! Even if you’re not that creative normally – have a go and see what you can make!

There will be certificates and prizes for the best hats. So, send us a photo or a video of you donning your hat – a twirl is encouraged so we see the full effect! We will create a video to post online so please make sure you tell us if you do not want to be included in that.

Remembrance Sunday 2020

Due to the Covid pandemic and lockdown restrictions the Council has cancelled the usual parade and event for Remembrance Sunday. Instead the Council has produced a number of videos which will be released through the week and on the day to help us remember the fallen. Residents are urged to stay at home and remember the fallen in their own way or by taking part in the national doorstep silence.
