Budget and Priorities Consultation 2022-23

Stapleford Town Council is preparing its budget for the 2022-23 financial year and would like to know the thoughts of residents.

The Town Council published a Corporate Plan in 2020 setting out its priorities and plans over a three year period. Having got halfway through delivering those plans we are now looking at reviewing to make sure we have it right.

Residents of Stapleford are asked to look through our consultation document below and answer a short questionnaire to help the Town Council set its budget in January.

George Spencer Academy – Admission Arrangements 2023/2024

The DfE Admission Code requires admission authorities to consult on their admission arrangements at least once every 7 years, even if there have been no changes during that period. The Code outlines who must be consulted.

The Spencer Academies Trust, of which George Spencer academy is a part, is proposing changes to the academy’s admissions arrangements from those which currently apply. We have made minor changes to wording to clarify points, removed the criterion of attendance at a Spencer Academy Trust School for all schools apart from Sunnyside; amended the service family criterion to include a catchment area; and included a criterion for residing in a catchment area. The closing date of the consultation period is the end of Thursday, 9 December 2021.

A copy of these can be found on our website www.george-spencer.com
